the momentum of price we will use a great momentum-indicator, the
20-period Moving Average.
Here is how we exit trades with the Moving Average:
For Long Trades, exit if the price has broken the moving
average upwards.
For Short Trades, exit if the price has broken the moving
average downwards.
This exit mechanism won't put you out too early, and let you ride long
trends for very big profits. However, for maximum performance we
recommend analyzing the market and looking for support and
resistance levels that may block the trend. Look for round levels
(1.9300, 1.0500 or 94.400). Round levels are powerful psychological
levels that have great power to block the price from advancing and
stopping even strong trends.
Note that price also touched the strong round level of 151.00 before
reversing, so an experienced trader would have closed the trade
earlier.
Do not worry about it for now. Even with the simple exit technique
it is possible to create great profits. However, once you gain
experience with this system you'll be able to spot reversals earlier
and will protect your profits better.
You can add-up to your position when multiple entry signals appear.
Such opportunities can generate vast profits in very short period of
time.
